Top level comments must be a properly formatted description of a card revealed today. Clear the stage and let them shine in the spotlight! Soloists are minions that get special effects when you control no other minions. Will you keep the tempo or play to your own beat? Follow the rhythm to maximize their impact! Harmonic spells swap between Harmonic and Dissonant modes each turn they’re in your hand. Whether they rock the axe or string the bow, every class gets a special musical instrument weapon card! Some of these weapons have Deathrattle effects that improve while the weapon’s in play. Priest is getting a new evergreen addition to their class identity this year, starting in the Festival of Legends and Core sets! Minions with Overheal trigger a special effect when they are healed above their max. Play your favorite tune and become a musical icon! Each class will also get a Legendary spell card, representing their musician’s most popular song. Every class is getting a Legendary minion card that is the class’s star musician, performing at the Festival of Legends. Plan out your turns like a setlist and end on your grand Finale! Every great musician knows to close each show with a bang for maximum effect. Cards with Finale get special bonuses if playing them spends all your remaining mana. we also tend to play fast when we get salty, it is almost never good to play fast because to make an optimal play, you need to look at future turns, not just the current turn. ![]() 1 strategy game where the opponent is more afraid of losing than we are: fear makes you extra risk-averse or extra aggressive, and the optimal decision is almost always associated with a moderate level of of risk-taking. it will boost your confidence and that is an extra "comparative advantage" we can get in a 1 vs. this is especially true when you are at diamond 1, because you lose so much confidence if you drop from diamond 1 back to diamond 5: one may simply not have the courage to start the grind all over again.īut it is much easier, if you already have one mode parked in diamond 1. The result is that, you will gradually gain stars in both modes, because your unlucky losing streak will NEVER affect your highest star/rank. Without further ado, the trick is: play both standard or wild (or play on two accounts, if that floats your boat), but ALWAYS play in the mode where your star/rank is lower. Think about those first few games at bronze every start of the season, do you get extremely angry if you lose? no, because you don't lose stars/ranks! ![]() So it occurred to me, that, I can create a "mental rank floor" and as a result, this can pull myself away from the "let me win this next game so that I can get legend" mentality, and I am always playing as if less is at stake. However, when we are frustrated or angry from losses (i.e., when we get salty), it is something that is easier said than done. I personally find that hitting legend is more about your mental wellness than your actual skill level (as you are matched-up against people with similar skill level), it is important to bring yourself to a mental state where you constantly try to make the best possible play out of all the plays that you personally see every turn, instead of playing 1, the most obvious cards. However, last time I checked, only about 1500~2000 players in standard and ~500 players in wild have 11 bonus stars, so this technique does work with the rest of us that aren't cream of the crop in either play mode. If you have 11 bonus stars in standard or wild, just play standard or wild and hit legend with lucky win streaks, it's super easy. I am only writing a guide to demonstrate a technique that I personally found to be extremely helpful when you are trying to hit legend without 11 bonus stars. First and foremost, I am not claiming to be extremely good at hearthstone. ![]()
