4/9/2023 0 Comments Xiro xplorer reviewIf you already own a GoPro I'd go for the G-version over the V-version. Being powered with a 4s 5200 mAh battery, the Xplorer2 has up to 25 minutes of flight. In order to achieve smooth and vibration free videos, the 4K camera is installed on a 3 axis brushless gimbal. Based on the specs, this new Xiro model will have about 1km FPV range. The small size and removable gimbal and folding landing gear make it a great quad to take on trips. The HD 720p downlink is another nice feature of the XIRO Xplorer 2 quadcopter. It's a professional looking kit that is refined in everything from the component quality to the feature set. The Xplorer Vs integrated camera shoots silent 1080p video at 30fps and 720p footage at 60fps. Reviewing the footage now it's nice and clear but the super wide field of view does distort the image a little. The Xiro Xplorer G is a ready to fly drone that is suitable for aerial photography or sport flying. Folds down/disassembles to be relatively compact, too. I've flown a mate's DJI Mavic Pro and this performed admirably given the price differential. The controller is also super well engineered with audio prompts and vibrations for low drone battery alerts, etc. I loved the smartphone app on this drone. The gimbal is super well engineered and it comes with heaps of spare parts in the box: full spare set of propellers and spare shock mounts for the gimbal and spare rubber tips for the landing pods and spare tiny screws and multiple filters to fit over the camera lens (the list goes on). The 3 power delivery settings really help to give confidence, too. Purchase experience at Harvey Norman was excellent.įlew this for the first time today (in an open field, because nervous and safety etc) and it flew like it was on rails.
